The PDS program and the residence permit?
Eligibility: Any non-citizen who acquires a residential property under the PDS with a value exceeding USD 375,000 (or its equivalent in freely convertible foreign currency) is eligible for a resident permit.
Inclusions: This resident permit is also granted to the spouse and children under the age of 24 of the property owner.
Validity: The resident permit remains valid as long as the non-citizen owns the property.
Work and Investment Rights: Non-citizens holding a resident permit under the PDS are exempted from the requirement to obtain an Occupation or Work Permit to invest and work in Mauritius.
